I usually like to walk on different paths, in fact, I’m always looking to find new ones. The other day, I took a walk on a path I had never been down before. It was a little cold, and it was raining slightly. I find it amazing how I always find something familiar in a place where I have never been before. For example, someone had placed down these boards in the areas where the trail would flood.  There is something comforting in knowing that someone was there before you, walking the same path. I can’t help but wonder how they felt when they walked, or what they saw. Although someone had placed down these boards, and marked this path before me, I had my own experience here and my own reasons for going in the first place.

About learningtolivedeliberately

I'm Victoria, eighteen years old from a small town in NH. I study English Literature and Writing at a small liberal arts college in Boston, MA. I find inspiration from authors like Henry David Thoreau, George Orwell and Charles Bukowski. I'm fascinated by nature and exploring the world around me. I strive to understand the inherent wanderlust seen not only in myself, but in many others around the world. This blog is to share what I have learned, and to record my journey into the wild.
